Welcome to the home of the ACDC!


The Addictions Coalition of Delaware County (ACDC) would like to proudly invite you to join us in our mission of addressing substance misuse issues and related public health consequences in Delaware County, Indiana.

Through a strategic community-academic partnership (S-CAP) established in June of 2020 between organizations and residents of Delaware County and faculty, staff, and students at Ball State University, the ACDC seeks improve the Delaware County community’s capacity to address substance misuse by providing a variety of different services such as free trainings and grant-writing assistance, and by acting as an assessment, communication, and strategic planning body for addiction services in the county.

Currently, the ACDC has over 550 members and 40+ community partners within Delaware County, and the ACDC has produced 10 funded grants totaling $350,000 for addiction services in collaboration with various community partners in its three years of operations.

In addition to community services, the ACDC also houses a robust student coalition called the Student Association for Addressing Addictions (S3) which allows Ball State students to get involved in various campus and community initiatives such as community clean-up days, drug take-back days, and social marketing prevention campaigns.
